Daily Mail and General Trust Board Appointments

At a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company, held this morning, Mr Padraic Fallon was appointed an executive director with immediate effect. Mr Fallon, 53, is chairman of Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC, a subsidiary of the Group. He joined Euromoney in 1974.

The Board also appointed Mr Nicholas Jennings as Company Secretary, a position previously held by Mr Peter Williams, the Group Finance Director.

Mr Jennings, aged 39, has been Assistant Company Secretary since 1994, having joined the Group in 1988.
