Acquisition by subsidiary of 20% holding in Shopcreator

DMGT has today completed the acquisition of a 20% interest in Shopcreator Developments Limited (' Shopcreator ') a Yorkshire-based e-commerce technology company. The undisclosed consideration will be satisfied partly in cash and partly in the form of advertising in DMGT's national newspaper titles.

Shopcreator was formed in March 1998 and currently has an installed base of around 450 client e-commerce stores. It has minimal net assets.
