Teletext Launches Real-Time Share Service on WAP

Teletext Ltd, the world's largest on-demand text service, is launching its real-time share prices service on WAP. This service - which targets City traders traditionally tied to the computer screens, or private investors on the move - will allow users instant access to London Stock Exchange (LSE) share listings via their mobile phones for the first time.

Available on virtually all mobile networks via the Nokia 7110 WAP phone, this service will allow WAP users access to real-time share prices, without having to subscribe or register. The shares service covers 3,000 of the most popular shares listed on the LSE. As well as the shares service, Teletext is also launching an on-demand financial news service.
