Acquisitions strengthen dmg world media position in US

dmg world media, the exhibition and related activities' division of DMGT, today announces the acquisition of four leading antique shows in Miami Beach and Las Vegas strengthening the company's position in the U.S. antiques market. The acquisition cost US $7 million, with a further US $1 million payable dependent on financial results for the year ending 30th September, 2001.

With the acquisition of the shows - The Original Miami Beach Antique Show, The Las Vegas Antique Jewellery Show and The September and November Miami Beach Jewellery Shows - dmg world media now owns 23 antique trade and public fairs in the USA.
