(Sydney - May 15 2003) DMG Radio Australia has achieved a remarkable string of victories in the latest audience ratings survey, surging to the number one position with the 'Under - 40' age group.
In the latest Nielsen Research Survey 3, DMG RAdio Australia stations won an unprecedented 'straight flush', with each of the metropolitan stations increasing their audience share.
Nova 969 Sydney, Nova 100 Melbourne and Nova 937 Perth have surged to No. 1 with all listeners under 40, emphasising how Australian radio audiences have emphatically embraced DMG's Nova stations and their unique combination of music variety and low clutter commercial environment.
Nova's impact in the volatile radio market has been significant, particularly given that the youngest Nova station (Perth) has been on air for only 22 weeks.
And DMG's Talk radio station, FIVEaa, put the final stamp of approval on the already outstanding survey findings. The Adelaide-based station enjoyed a rise of 1.7% taking it to a 16.7% overall share and underpinning its position as Australia's highest rating talk station.
