OFT green light for DMG Information plan

(London - 12 September 2004) The Office of Fair Trading has given the green light to the acquisition of Sitescope Limited by DMG Information Limited.
In a formal announcement to the Stock Exchange, the OFT declared it had decided not to refer the merger to the Competition Commission. (11/09/2003)
DMG Information, the business to business information division of DMGT, has reached agreement to acquire Sitescope Limited, the online property search business based in Bromley, Kent.
In the most recent financial year to 31 March, 2003, Sitescope had revenues of £6.3 million and at that date had net assets of £1.3 million.
The acquisition increases DMG Information's existing interest in providing property related information in the UK through Landmark Information Group, which provides land and property search information including digital mapping and environmental and planning reports interest for lawyers, surveyors, architects and home buyers, and in the US through Environmental Data Resources.
