(Adelaide - 30 Oct 2003) DMG Radio Australia has launched a new radio station for the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

Hot 91 got off the ground with the help of internationally renowned singer/songwriter Craig David, who performed live on air. Craig is on tour in Australia, and persuading him to perform on launch day was a considerable coup for the youth-oriented station.

DMG Radio Australia continues to go from strength to strength, and Hot 91 forms part of the group's expanding radio interests in the country.

DMG Radio Australia, based in Adelaide, was formed in 1996. It it's short life, it already has accumulated more licences than any other Australian radio broadcasting company - 64 licenses across five states.
