Sale of DMG Regional Radio

DMGT announces that DMG Radio Australia ('DMGRA') has signed a share sale agreement with Regional Media Pty Ltd, a member of the Macquarie Bank Group, to sell a portfolio of 57 regional radio stations for a total consideration of A$193.5 million (£77 million), payable in cash.

The deal is subject to a range of conditions precedent, with completion due to occur by 10 September, 2004.

The transaction does not include DMGRA's recently launched stations Hot 91 Sunshine Coast or Star 1045 on the Central Coast of New South Wales; nor does it include the metropolitan stations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
