Vega 95.3fm - GOES LIVE!

Angela Catterns commenced broadcasting at 11am today on vega 95.3fm, Sydney’s first radio station designed for listeners in their 40’s and 50’s.
The music playlist for vega 95.3fm is vast and encompasses a diverse range of styles and artists from the past 40 years and the best of contemporary music in 2005.

The new station’s presenters are some of Australia’s most loved and respected
broadcasters:

Angela Catterns - breakfast
Wendy Harmer - mornings
Francis Leach - afternoons
Tony Squires & Rebecca Wilson - drive time
Mike Perso - nights

“But it is not just about music, and it’s not just about entertainment,” says Paul Clarke Executive Producer of vega95.3fm. “It’s a combination of both, supported with news, weather and traffic information, everything this audience told us they wanted from a radio station designed specifically for them.”

Test broadcasts of the Melbourne station vega 91.5fm also began at 11am today with a launch date in September to be announced soon.
