(Toronto, ON) - With over one million square feet and more than 700 exhibitors, there’s no other show in Canada that measures up to the 2007 National Home Show. Presented by RE/MAX, from April 13-22 at the Direct Energy Centre, the National Home Show is Canada’s largest home decorating and renovation extravaganza offering one-stop shopping for hundreds of new products, services and decorating ideas.
The National Home Show is more than inspiring - it’s entertaining too! This year’s roster of celebrity speakers includes show favorite Karl Lohnes, Style Editor at Style At Home Magazine; world famous Scottish interior designers Colin and Justin from HGTV’s How NOT To Decorate; Canada’s own, the inimitable Mike Holmes; and the hugely popular JUNKMARKET creators and HGTV stars, Ki Nassauser and Sue Whitney, making their first appearance in Canada.
The focus of this year’s show, according to Show Manager Christine Nattrass, is to bring inspiration home. “We encourage visitors to bring in their pictures, swatches, paint chips, projects and questions too because they’ll leave inspired and equipped with ideas and know-how to complete any project.” Nattrass also noted that visitors should arrive ready to shop. “There’s every chance show visitors will leave with bags of great products because the National Home Show is famous for its ‘In-Show Specials’.”
“Canadians are passionate about their homes,” says Christine Martysiewicz, Director of Public Relations; RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada Inc. “The National Home Show provides a number of ideas for those looking to buy their first home or those renovating their current dwelling. We are thrilled to partner with the National Home Show to offer our clients additional value added resources.”
