Nova network No. 1 all people 18 to 39

In the second Nielsen Media Research survey for 2008 released today, the Nova network achieved the number one position for All People 18 to 39 across Australia.

The Nova Network also achieved the leading share of the 25-39 demographic.

• Overall share of 7.9 %

• Increase in reach to 742,000 listeners weekly

Nova 100 Melbourne

• Overall share of 9.9%

• Hughesy & Kate up to 10.9% In breakfast*

• 4th consecutive increase in breakfast share

• Increase in No. 1 share of 25-39’s to 19.1%

Nova 106.9 Brisbane

• No. 1 station with 14.1% overall

• 16 consecutive surveys in a row as No. 1 overall

• Kip, Ash, Meshel & Luttsy No. 1 in breakfast with increase from 13.4% to 14%*

• No. 1 10-17’s, 18-24’s, 25-39’s and Under 40

Nova 919 Adelaide

• Strong increase from 11.8% to 13.1 % share overall

• No 1 FM share for the first time since launch

• Leading FM breakfast share up from 11.7% to 13.2%

• No. 1 in 18-24’s, 25-39’s and Under 40

Nova 937 Perth

• No 1 share of 18-24s with 27.2%

• Increase in drive with Akmal, Cal & Ed from 9.9% to 10.6% **

• Increase for new nights show Action Battle Team to 9.2%^

Fiveaa Adelaide

• No.1 overall in Adelaide for 5th consecutive survey

• Up from 13.6% to 15.4 % overall

• No.1 breakfast share increasing to 20.2%

vega 95.3fm Sydney

• Overall share of 3.7%

• Increase in 40-54’s to 6.5%

• 13,000 new listeners to weekly reach of 331,000

vega 91.5fm Melbourne

• Increase in share to 3.0%

• Dicko Dave & Chrissie increase share by 0.4% in breakfast in their second full survey on the air

• Weekly cumulative reach of 301,000 listeners
