The combined reach of Associated Newspapers' print and online titles is now 45% of the UK population, according to research undertaken by Associated Northcliffe Digital (AND).

Survey Interactive, who canvassed the opinions of 60,000 people across 38 AND operated websites, found that the Group’s cross-media readership is currently 22m adults.

Data collated from the AND study will be submitted to the Portfolio Audience Project - a joint Newspaper Society, Joint Industry Committee for Regional Press Research and ABCe initiative to develop new ways of measuring audience across media.

In related news, DMGT’s portfolio of market-leading websites has been ranked 15th among companies with UK online property, according to web tracking agency comScore, beating media rivals BSkyB, News International, and Viacom Digital – providing further evidence of the Group’s burgeoning online presence.
