DMGT chief executive Martin Morgan has praised RMSI, after it was named India’s best place to work for an unprecedented third consecutive year.
A leading employee satisfaction survey carried out by The Economic Times, India’s biggest financial daily newspaper, and the Great Place to Work Institute across all industries, put the DMG Information business in pole position.
“To be named the best workplace in one of the world’s fastest growing economies for the third year running is a remarkable achievement and a tribute to the entire workforce,” Martin Morgan said.
Beating the likes of chip maker Intel and global internet search giant Google, placed second and fifth respectively, the Nodia-based geospatial solutions and application software provider again tops the list of India’s 50 best employers. The best workplaces were honoured at a special gala award ceremony in Mumbai, attended by the biggest names in Indian HR.
“A work culture that encourages innovation, transparency in communication, trust and a great sense of belonging within the organisation inculcated through fair and ethical work practices are the core ideals behind RMSI achieving this award year after year,” explained Gagan Jyot, head of HR, RMSI.
“It feels great to be honoured as the best employer spanning all industries for the third year in a row. To reach the top is easy, sustaining it is difficult,” added Rajesh Kalra, managing director RMSI, speaking at the awards bash. “This award is recognition of our belief that our employees are our greatest asset.”
Over 370 companies from 25 industry verticals across India participated with the 2009 study, making it one of the largest employee satisfaction surveys of its kind.
